Charles J. Ruotolo, MD, FAAOS, graduated top of the class from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, and was awarded his doctorate of medicine in 1995. His postgraduate training led him to SUNY Stony Brook University, where he completed his general surgery internship and orthopedics residency. Furthermore, Dr. Ruotolo is fellowship trained in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at The Sports Clinic Orthopedic Medical Associates of Laguna Hills in Laguna Hills, California, where he trained under the tutelage of Wesley Nottage, MD, at The Sports Clinic Orthopedic Medical Associates of Laguna Hills, Dr. Ruotolo he perfected his advanced arthroscopic surgical skills. Furthermore, he attained the coveted title of fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and received his board certification in orthopedic surgery from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
